Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight to various locations. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trailers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently on designated routes
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other equipment as necessary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules
Manage refrigerated trailer operations, ensuring temperature controls are maintained
Perform route driving duties with attention to detail in navigating various terrains

Experience

Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with tractor-trailer units
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred
Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized trucks is a plus
Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load/unload protocols
Ability to operate dump trucks or roll-off trucks is advantageous
Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices
Must have clean drivers license.
