Job Summary:
The location is in Rancho Mirage, California. This position for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist involves performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, along with scheduling and pre-procedure patient preparation. It requires proficiency in operation of nuclear medicine cameras, radiation safety practices, and accurate record keeping to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure/Certification: ARRT or NMTCB or ASCP, California State License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology; Experience: 0 years minimum required, preferred 1-3 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Skills: Nuclear medicine imaging, therapeutic procedures, radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiopharmaceutical administration, radiation safety, auxiliary equipment operation, patient care, intravenous line proficiency, clinical documentation, inventory management, equipment calibration, physiological monitoring, medication knowledge in nuclear medicine, experience in nuclear medicine (1-3 years).
• Additional Information: This role requires the ability to start intravenous lines, perform clinical documentation, maintain inventory, and operate all relevant equipment. The candidate must also be familiar with radiation safety regulations, clinical procedures, and patient monitoring during nuclear medicine protocols.
