Certified Medical Assistants

We are looking for a compassionate and efficient Certified Medical Assistant to assist in the daily administrative and clinical tasks of our medical facility. As part of our dedicated team of professionals, the successful applicant will help in improving the health and well-being of our patients by providing excellent care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Administer injections or medications as directed by the physician.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow up.
• Perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Competence in office management software and patient management systems.
• Proficient in clinical practices, sterile procedures, and basic medical terminologies.

Certifications

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) or similar.
