Overview

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Technician Manager, fills routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and assist staff pharmacists as directed.

Responsibilities

Medication Fills. Compounding of Sterile Products. Timeliness of Functions. Inventory Control. Hospital Area Inspections. Patient Billing. Requisitions/acudose. Pharmacy Environment. Computer Skills

Qualifications

1 year hospital experience preferred or other relevant experience as a medical technician.

Pharmacy certification required

Competencies Skills

Essential:* Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal* Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs * Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations* Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors* Proof Of Current/Valid Car Insurance * Valid DL With No More Than 3 Moving Violations
