Senior Android Developer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for building and enhancing high-quality mobile applications. In this role, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and Backend Engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and engaging Android experiences
.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale mobile applications while working on new features, architectural improvements, and performance optimization in a fast-paced environment
.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and user experience
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Write unit tests and contribute to continuous integration and deployment efforts
- Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional Android development experien
- Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience developing and deploying Android applications
- Familiarity with Android application architecture and lifecycle
- Experience with unit testing and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Play Store deployment and release processes
- Knowledge of modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
