This is a full-time Vitreoretinal Surgeon role designed for someone who wants a steady clinic flow, protected OR time, and strong support. Practice Overview

• You'll join an established ophthalmology group with 15 ophthalmologists, including an existing retina specialist and other subspecialists
• Referral-driven model with an active co-management approach and 300+ referring optometric providers across Middle Tennessee
• Four clinic days plus one dedicated OR day weekly, with blocked OR time available
• Strong on-site support (dedicated technicians, diagnostics) plus anesthesia, radiology, nursing, and hospital partnership

Schedule

• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Typical flow of 30-50 patients per clinic day with two exam rooms assigned to you
• Call rotates among physicians; no ER call requirements and virtually no trauma call

Compensation & Benefits

• High-Earning Potential: Guaranteed salary 400,000-450,000 with 30% collections sharing
• Potential sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (both negotiable)
• Comprehensive benefits package and malpractice insurance provided (tail coverage remains physician responsibility)
• Vacation, CME time, and CME allowance are negotiable based on your needs

Candidate Requirements

• MD/DO; fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery required (medical and surgical retina focus)
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills; commitment to quality outcomes
• Residents not considered; the practice is built for a physician ready to step into full clinical volume
• Collaborative communication style, comfortable working within a shared-care/co-management model
