Job Description:

The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients, including those undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure treatments such as VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages. The role involves independently scrubbing and circulating complex adult cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

Scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases including CABGs and structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall).
Perform minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement) and manage heart failure cases (e.g., Impella).

Requirements:

RN License (NY License ONLY)
Two (2) years of experience required
Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - preferred
Able to circulate & scrub
Telemetry
BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
