Speech Language Pathologist

About the job Speech Language Pathologist We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school team. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, promoting their academic success and social participation. Responsibilities Evaluate and assess students' communication skills, identifying strengths and challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' speech, language, and communication skills Provide speech and language therapy sessions to students, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech-language pathology into the educational environment Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as needed Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's communication development Monitor students' progress and report findings to educators, parents, and other relevant parties Workload & Caseload Details All grade levels available - Preschool through high school Flexible service delivery model - 3 weeks of direct service, 1 week or indirect Workload weighted on severity of needs and amount of work to support them - 55 - Caseload of about 45 is typical Could potentially cover 2 schools Qualifications All SPED Teachers will need at least 2 years of SPED Teaching experience Shift & Compensation Shift: Days [full-time, 35hrs] $100 gas incentive (one time) Duration: 12 weeks * Health Insurance (Dental, Vision, Medical) #J-18808-Ljbffr Primeratestaffing
