A-Level Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced A-Level Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This is a highly skilled industrial maintenance position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
The ideal candidate will have advanced hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, electric motors, mechanical equipment, fabrication, plumbing/water systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance .
This individual will serve as a technical resource within the facility and work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, quality, and overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of industrial electric motors, motor controls, drives, contactors, relays, and electrical circuits .
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and power distribution.
- Perform basic to intermediate fabrication, welding, and metalworking to support equipment repairs and facility improvements.
- Install, maintain, and repair facility plumbing, water distribution systems, pumps, and valves.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records within a CMMS system .
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and participate in root cause analysis (RCA).
- Partner with production teams to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and equipment reliability.
- Follow all established quality and safety standards.
- Consistently follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when servicing equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience in Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field .
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting electric motors and industrial electrical systems .
- Hands-on experience with fabrication and plumbing/water systems .
- Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics .
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to support off-shift, weekend, or emergency maintenance activities when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- TPM certification or formal TPM training.
- Certification in industrial electrical maintenance and/or welding.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs and industrial automation systems .
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies.
- Experience working with CMMS systems.

We are looking for a seasoned maintenance professional who can independently diagnose complex equipment issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, highly knowledgeable in industrial electrical systems, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
This position is best suited for an experienced A-Level technician who can serve as a technical resource to the maintenance and production teams.
