CNC Programmer/Digital Templator - Countertop Fabrication

Job Description

Luxor Stone Group is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Digital Templator to join our countertop fabrication team in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will digitally template countertop projects using Raptor software, program precision cut files using AlphaCAM, and operate our Park Industries CNC to cut granite, quartz, and other natural and engineered stone slabs to spec. This is a precision-driven role that directly impacts the quality and accuracy of every job we deliver.

Duties:

Perform on-site and in-shop digital templating of countertops using Raptor software.

Translate templates into accurate, optimized cut files and toolpaths using AlphaCAM.

Program and operate the Park Industries CNC saw/router to cut slabs (granite, quartz, marble, etc.) to finished specifications.

Optimize slab layout and nesting to minimize material waste and maximize yield.

Review job orders, drawings, and customer specifications for accuracy before programming.

Inspect finished cut pieces for dimensional accuracy and quality before they move to fabrication and finishing.

Coordinate with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure templates and cut files match field measurements.

Maintain CNC equipment and troubleshoot basic programming or machine issues.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in CNC programming and/or digital templating, ideally in stone or countertop fabrication.

Hands-on experience with Raptor templating software.

Proficiency in AlphaCAM (or similar CAD/CAM software) for cut file generation.

Experience operating Park Industries CNC equipment or similar stone-cutting CNC machinery.

Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and customer specifications.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment.

Pay: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience
