Elder Law Attorney - Hauppauge, NY An established New York law firm is seeking an experienced Elder Law Attorney to join its growing practice in Hauppauge. This senior-level opportunity is focused on Elder Law, Medicaid planning, asset protection, long-term care planning, crisis Medicaid matters, and estate planning. Key Responsibilities Advise clients regarding Medicaid eligibility and planning. Develop asset protection strategies. Develop pre-planning and crisis planning solutions. Oversee Medicaid applications and appeals. Counsel clients regarding long-term care, nursing home placement, and community Medicaid programs. Handle estate planning matters. Work closely with families navigating healthcare and financial challenges. Maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience. J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to and good standing with the New York State Bar. Experience with Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Trusts, or Estates. Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility rules and crisis planning strategies. Strong communication, client service, and organizational skills. Work Arrangement This position is onsite only at the Hauppauge, NY office. Compensation $150,000-$200,000 salary range. Discretionary year-end bonus paid in December.
