Project Manager - Fire/ Life Safety SystemsThe Project Manager facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs. This role requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $100K and $2.5M.As a Project Manager, you will:Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfactionBe responsible for delivery of results for the respective process stepsGuide technical or administrative staffAct as a functional process resource on projects or programsContribute to continuous improvement planPerform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationshipsBe responsible for several small projectsReview project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intentDevelop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needsManage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviewsAssist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractorsConduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.Track resources and projects progressDocument project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiencyPursue project-specific change-order opportunitiesCoordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations ManagerSchedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentationExpedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built developmentComplete project-specific close-out documentationEffectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirementsAdhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actionsYou will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Associate degreeAbility to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customersExperience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft ProjectVerbal and written communication skills in EnglishTechnical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry1+ years of experience managing projectsNICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferredKnowledgeable of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulationsMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle programLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree3+ years of technical experience in the fire and life safety industryReady to create your own journey?
