About this Location This position is located at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, CA. A city nestled by the San Gabriel Mountains, known for its blend of suburban charm and natural beauty. Home to the renowned Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden and the historic Santa Anita racetrack. Arcadia offers a unique blend of outdoor recreation and rich cultural heritage. Why do we need you? To repair and maintain the physical structure of the hotel using hand tools and power tools. What you will do Maintain the hotel by performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities using hand tools. Replace air conditioner filters. Notify management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. May tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests. Execute assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed by the department’s management and ensure completion competently within a given time. Ensure any work requests that may come from the hotel guests or senior management are responded to within a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge. Support and adhere to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company. Schedule & Hours This position is Full‑Time and the role follows a rotating schedule (Monday‑Sunday).
