Diesel Technician

Dick Smith Ford is looking for an experienced Ford Diesel Technician to join our growing Commercial Truck Service Center. Compensation and Incentives Pay starting at $55.00 per flat-rate hour , depending on Ford certifications, experience, and skill level Industry-leading Technician Retention Package Generous performance-based bonus structure Consistent commercial and fleet workload Paid Ford factory training and certification opportunities Excellent long-term earning potential Vehicles You Will Service Ford Super Duty trucks Ford Power Stroke diesel vehicles Commercial fleet vehicles Chassis cab trucks Medium-duty trucks Gas and diesel-powered commercial vehicles Motorhome/RV class A, B, B+, C Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, driveline components, electrical systems, emissions systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems Perform preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, D.O.T. inspections Use Ford diagnostic equipment and factory service information Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs Communicate repair needs clearly with the service team Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Qualifications Previous diesel technician experience required Ford diesel and Power Stroke experience strongly preferred Ford certifications preferred Strong electrical and diagnostic abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record CDL is a plus but not required ASE certifications are a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Uniforms provided Modern shop equipment and factory diagnostic tools Paid training and certification opportunities Career advancement opportunities Stable workload with a growing commercial and fleet customer base Why Dick Smith Ford?
