The role requires a deep understanding of healthcare billing, payer guidelines, and compliance standards to optimize revenue cycle operations and support the financial health of the organization. **Key Responsibilities:*** Oversee and manage the billing process, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and appeals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.* Analyze claim rejections and accounts receivable aging's to identify trends and implement corrective actions.* Supervise, train, and mentor billing specialists to enhance team performance and professional development.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer guidelines, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and coding standards.* Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing operations and improve overall efficiency.* Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance billing operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.* Prepare regular reports on billing activities and performance metrics for management review.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
