Join us on our growth and transformation journey in Indianapolis.A few reasons to consider GE:10% pay differential for 2nd/3rd shift.Healthcare benefits eligible on day one of employment13 annual paid holidays; vacation eligible at day 30 of employmentClimate-controlled building out of the elementsTuition reimbursement benefit401K with company matchEssential Responsibilities:Weekend shift hours: 7am-7pm, Days: Friday, Saturday, SundayComplete machine set-up.Load tool and tool holders as required.Perform jaw cutting and re-cutting.Set fixture offsets as required.Verify correct tool hardware, tool diameter, tool radius, drill length, and end mills.Verify accuracy of tool offset changes as needed.Perform periodic inspections of calibration.Read and process parts and visual braze inspection.Maintain accurate work records.Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.Support our team concept and learn/perform other duties as required.Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal.Follow and promote safe work practices.Support LEAN initiatives.Lift light to medium weight in an environment that may occasionally require crouching, stooping and/or awkward work positions.Required qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent1+ year of machining experienceCNC MachiningThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.Desirable characteristics:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read, understand, and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations.Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment and demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.Milling and Turning experienceThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
