PCU Registered Nurse (RN)
Join our team as a Patient Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in providing focused care to patients in a critical unit setting.
Shift Details
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Weekend Rotation: Required
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV starts. Monitor and manage patient conditions, responding to changes promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes. Document patient information and care in the Meditech system.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a PCU or similar setting. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required. Must float within scope to meet facility needs. Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment. Approved and documented requests for time off (RTO) must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
Additional Information
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week. Parking: Free on-site parking available. Scrub Color: Any color; specific scrubs provided for OR/L&D/Cath Lab.
