Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Plastics / Surgical Tysons Corner, VA Pay From: $57 per hour Requirements Licensed and certified PA-C with valid state license and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience in surgical and aesthetic procedures (e.g., assisting in surgery, Botox, fillers, lasers). Skilled in pre‑op assessments, post‑op care, and patient education. Strong clinical documentation and workflow management abilities. Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient‑centered care skills. Responsibilities Work with all members of the health care team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout his/her surgical experience. Maintain a friendly, positive and caring attitude with all patients, physicians and staff. Maintain excellent physical and mental health. Provide patient education during all phases of the patient's experience at the Center. Ensure that equipment is functioning properly. Assist the physician during surgery and procedures by functioning in the circulating role; coordinate the activities of the Anesthesiologist, Surgical Technologist, and Surgeon to ensure safe patient care. Ensure patient safety through appropriate transport, transfer and positioning of patient. Ensure appropriate levels of supplies and equipment to provide safe patient care. Monitor the environment to ensure sterile technique is maintained throughout the procedure. Operate and troubleshoot OR surgical equipment. Perform professional intra‑operative nursing care of the patient by utilizing the nursing care process and making a plan for patient care. Be flexible, open to change, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Work with other nursing staff in the pre‑op, OR, and PACU, as well as with ancillary staff, to provide safe, efficient patient care.
