Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Current Wisconsin Nursing License
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- CPR/BLS Certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
- Document patient care according to established standards.
- Develop and execute individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education as needed.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities and support shared governance.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command.

Compliance / Notes
- May be required to float to other units.
- Every other weekend and holiday shifts required.
