Kia of West Nyack is hiring an  Automotive Sales Representative to join our growing team. We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused  people person who enjoys working with others, building relationships, and creating a positive customer experience.

You don’t need to have a background in automotive sales to be successful here.  Experience working with people in retail sales, hospitality, customer service, consumer finance, call centers, or other customer-facing environments can transfer extremely well. What matters most is your drive, motivation, determination, and willingness to learn.

This is an opportunity for someone who is comfortable in a  team-oriented environment , takes pride in customer care, and is motivated by the opportunity to grow and earn. Sales can come with challenges and rejection, so we’re looking for someone who can  accept failure, learn from it, stay positive, and keep moving forward.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned vehicles that fit their needs and budget
• Build genuine relationships with customers in person, by phone, and through internet leads
• Provide exceptional customer care throughout the sales process
• Respond promptly to leads and schedule appointments
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
• Ask questions, understand customer needs, overcome objections, and close sales
• Follow up consistently with leads, appointments, prior customers, and unsold prospects
• Maintain accurate customer information and activity in the CRM
• Complete sales paperwork accurately
• Partner with sales management and the finance team to complete vehicle transactions
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service
• Follow dealership policies and applicable New York State and federal automotive sales laws

What We’re Looking For

• Previous automotive, retail, commission, or customer-facing sales experience preferred —  experience outside of automotive is welcome
• A genuine  people person who enjoys interacting with customers and building relationships
• Experience working with people and providing strong customer care
• Retail sales or other customer-facing experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach
• Drive, motivation, determination, and a strong desire to succeed
• Ability to stay focused and productive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Resilience and a positive attitude when faced with rejection or setbacks
• Willingness to learn from mistakes, accept failure as part of the sales process, and keep improving
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
• Strong organization and follow-up skills
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and sales technology
• Ability and willingness to learn dealership products, processes, and compliance requirements
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting dealership insurance requirements
• Availability to work Saturdays and scheduled dealership hours
