Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Schedule: Part Time (2x12s) - day/night variable shift, scheduled as needed by client; includes every other weekend and holiday.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 15 weeks

Requirements:
- NYS RN Licensure Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- One (1) year experience serving in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess patient and family needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and lifestyle changes to support health after hospitalization.
- Advocate for patients' health, safety, and rights while promoting a healing environment.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Comply with infection prevention strategies and maintain competencies required for patient care.
