Physical Therapy Assistant - Full-time

Role:

The Physical Therapy Assistant collaborates with physical therapists to develop and implement programs aimed at improving patients’ mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.

Responsibilities:

Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with the team, provides patient and family education, documents sessions, and offers discharge instructions and referrals. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains confidentiality, and fosters a positive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires a high school diploma and an associates degree in physical therapy. Holds necessary licenses and certifications, including PTA and BLS. Must demonstrate effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.

Additional Duties:

Participates in professional development, training, and mandatory education; assists in onboarding new staff; adheres to organizational policies and standards.
