Position: Medical Director - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Location: Ooltewah, TN
Job Type: Independent Contractor

A freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital in eastern Tennessee is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director of its rehabilitation program. This leadership opportunity combines clinical practice with program oversight and offers the flexibility, support, and resources needed to lead a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team while maintaining an excellent quality of life near Chattanooga.

• Medical Director role providing leadership for a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital
• Collaborate closely with hospital administration and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams
• Independent contractor position with flexible scheduling
• Access to advanced rehabilitation technology, training resources, and administrative support
• Located minutes from Chattanooga with convenient access to Knoxville, Atlanta, and Nashville

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Active or eligible Tennessee medical license
• Leadership experience preferred but not required
