Description
American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technician First Assist with Ortho/Total Joints/Scopes experience for a hospital surgery department position.
Details
- Hospital surgery department setting
- 4x10-hour AM shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- On-call requirements apply
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Experience with Ortho, Total Joints, and Scopes procedures required
- ST FA (Surgical Tech First Assist) experience required
- Minimum of 18 months of recent experience required
- State of Georgia requires education verification or National certification
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Assist the surgical team during ortho, total joint, and scope procedures
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Returning Emory staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days when falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
