We accomplish this through teamwork, customer partnerships, passionate experts, and reliable, easy-to-use solutions.As part of our team and the broader Veralto network, you'll be part of a unique work environment where purpose meets possibility: where you'll make an immediate, measurable impact on a global scale by enabling the world's everyday water needs, and where you'll have opportunities to foster your professional development and fuel your career growth.Motivated by the highest possible stakes of climate change and global health, we're working together within a rapidly digitizing industry to find innovative technologies that guarantee the safety of our water and our environment.We offer:Professional onboarding and training optionsPowerful team looking forward to working with youCareer coaching and development opportunitiesHealth benefits401(k)In this role, a typical day will look like:Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills/lathes and injection molding equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).Develop, perform, and audit preventive maintenance procedures.Maintain high equipment uptime, including specialized Chemkey systems.Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.Develop and execute emergency repair plans for critical assets.Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and DBS activities.Handle and ensure proper disposal of chemical and non-chemical (including hazardous) waste.Participate in team meetings for planning, resource allocation, problem-solving, and project work.Assist with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment.Provide guidance and support to junior Maintenance Technicians.Crosstrain in other areas as needed.Collaborate with leadership to recommend and implement improvements to processes, equipment, and procedures (safety, quality, delivery, productivity).Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.The essential requirements of the job include:4+ years in related role in an applicable environmentAssociate's degree or equivalent experienceAdvanced technical or mechanical problem solvingAbility to recognize and solve non-routine problems; completes work with limited directionCommunicates detailed technical information with tact and diplomacy, both written and verbalHach is proud to be part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto, a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.The compensation range for this role is $29.52 - $34.18 USD per hour.
