This PRN/on-call role is responsible for the supervision, safety, and well-being of campers during evening and overnight hours, while fostering a positive, inclusive residential experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide continuous overnight supervision to ensure camper safety and well-beingSupport positive cabin dynamics and a respectful, inclusive environmentGuide evening routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest preparationCollaborate with the Camp Director and fellow counselors to support daily operationsFacilitate safe, engaging, age-appropriate activitiesEnforce camp expectations and resolve conflicts with care and fairnessFollow emergency protocols and support camper health and dietary needsServe as a positive mentor and role modelQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and responsive in dynamic situationsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with youth in camp, education, or recreation settingsCPR/First Aid certificationFunctionUnclassified PositionsScheduled Weekly Hours:30Saint Louis University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
