Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will be able to read technical drawings, perform accurate setups, and ensure high-quality output. Knowledge or experience with folding beam machines is considered a strong plus .

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Select appropriate tooling, dies, and materials for each job
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of metal bending processes and tolerances
• Experience with CNC press brakes preferred
• Folding beam (panel bender) knowledge or experience is a plus
• Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle metal parts as required
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Familiarity with multiple machine controls and tooling systems
• Prior work in a high-mix, low-volume production environment
