Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- 1960 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year experience required with 1 travel assignment.

Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. 75-mile radius rule applies.

Unit Details: Uses Meditech. Telemetry is monitored on different units. Vent support includes BiPAP, CPAP only at HS, Vapotherm, and Draeger. No IV team; PICC available. Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7. CNA support is generally 1:8 to 1:10 and may be pulled for 1:1 sitters. Assignments may change during the shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. On-call for low census. Holidays rotate with permanent staff.

Floating Requirements: MedSurg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
