Position Description

The Undergraduate Admissions department is hiring Student Ambassadors. We are looking for students that are passionate about Eastern, are outgoing and love meeting new people and excited to join the admissions team!

We are currently looking for students available for the following shifts:

• Monday: 9-12:30pm
• Tuesday: Shifts available between 9-4pm
• Wednesday: 9-12:30pm
• Thursday: 12:30-4pm

Accepts: Federal Work Study (FWS) & Eastern Campus Employment (ECE) Only current / active Eastern University students can apply for Student Positions.

Position Responsibilities

Student Ambassadors are responsible for giving campus tours to visiting families and prospective students. Tour may be 1 on 1 with families, or large groups at our admissions events such as open houses. When you are not giving tours, you will be helping our operations with tasks like making admit boxes, folding t-shirts, mailing, etc.

• Affidavit;
• FBI Criminal Record Check;
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance;
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check.

In accordance with state laws, Act 73 of 2007, Act 153 of 2014, Act 168 (relating to the Child Protective Services Law), school employees of Eastern University who will have "direct contact with children" must complete the background check process prior to employment. Results must be submitted within ten days of receipt.
