Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care Level III trauma center, requiring ARRT-R certification and a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• X-Ray department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (shift times may vary based on department need)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• On-call as needed
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based X-Ray experience
• Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
• Connecticut state license required; candidates with a pending license will be considered
• License required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved; any additional time off must be made up
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
