Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.Job DescriptionPerforms inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Works under immediate supervision.Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.Ensure proper execution of regression and functional test procedures and automated test suites and scripts.Write and execute tests to validate products and firmware on CPE devices.Contribute to the development of Quality Assurance (QA) test philosophies and methodologies.Identify viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality.Collaborate with product and development teams to identify product and technical requirements.Maintain lab and setting up of testing environments.Work with other QA Engineers or Software Engineers to identify, reproduce and document bugs or defects.Document and communicate test summary results.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIESBachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science3-5 years related experience3+ years of experience in developing and implementing test plans and test cases.Good knowledge of Wireless Network core technology and componentsFamiliarity with WiFi Standards (802.11) and features Configuration and troubleshooting of an Access Point (AP)Knowledge of IP addressing and DHCPUnderstanding of Network Management protocols – SNMP, TR-069, WEBPA, TR-181Experience with packet capture and analysis with tools like Wireshark, TCPDump.Basic understanding of networkingCWNA Certification is a plusExperience with scripting languages and tools such as Perl, TCL, Python is a plusKnowledge of Selenium, QTP, Java is a plusFamiliarity with basic Shell/CLI commandsSolid background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.Familiarity with HP ALM, Jira and Rally tools.Experience working with Agile methodologies.Self-motivated and able to work well under pressureExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively bridge cross-functional teams and divisionsAbility to multitask within a dynamic environment where priorities are revised to keep pace with a highly competitive industryAdditional InformationIf you are interested, please contact:Sophia973-507-7563SummaryType: ContractFunction: Information TechnologyExperience level: ExecutiveIndustry: Information Technology And Services
