Assistant General Manager

PART TIME / ON-CALL - APPROX. 20 HOURS PER WEEK

This is an on-call role. You must be available 24/7 to respond to staffing, operational, and customer issues as they come up. Total hours average about 20 per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be available on-call 24/7 to handle coverage gaps, call-outs, and urgent store issues Supervise laundry attendants and porters across multiple stores Manage employee schedules, coverage, attendance, and performance Coordinate training Monitor daily operations and maintain consistent customer service Resolve customer concerns and employee issues Coordinate supplies, equipment maintenance, and repairs Support staffing and operations as the business expands

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous management experience in laundry services, laundromats, retail, housekeeping, or a similar environment Experience supervising staff across multiple locations Availability for 24/7 on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage staffing needs and daily operational priorities Dependable, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel between Bronx and Queens locations on short notice #J-18808-Ljbffr Phaxis
