Underground Coal Miner / Fireboss

JENNMAR Services, is seeking Firebosses for the Grafton , WV area. Position may help with Black Hat jobs as well.

Job Responsibilities:

• Examining the surface and underground work areas of the mine including airways, bleeders, and belts.
• Identifying hazardous conditions including roof, dust, gas, and equipment.
• Checking and recording gas readings in proper books.
• Conducting pre-shift and on shift examinations.
• Other duties assigned.

Position Requirements:

• WV Foreman or Assistant Foreman Certification.
• Up-to-date annual refresher (preferred).
• Up-to-date WV Foreman Continuing Education (preferred)
• Previous experience firebossing.
• Valid driver's license.
