Industrial Onsite Occupational Therapist (PRN)

Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) Onsite is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support a leading American manufacturer in a modern industrial environment. This role focuses on injury prevention, employee coaching, and ergonomic assessment-offering a refreshing alternative to traditional clinical care with minimal documentation and reduced patient caseloads.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and address musculoskeletal discomfort within OSHA First Aid guidelines
Provide early intervention care and injury prevention strategies
Coach employees on proper body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices
Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend risk-reduction solutions
Collaborate with safety teams, plant leadership, and supervisors
Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based techniques
Promote overall wellness through strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination initiatives
Document care services appropriately
Support alternatives to medication and surgical intervention when appropriate

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist (required)
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Experience with ergonomic assessments (preferred)

Position Details

Job Type: PRN (as-needed, flexible scheduling)
Schedule: Day shift availability within a 24/7 operation
Specialty Areas: Orthopedics, Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine
