Assigns patients to appropriate treatment areas based on observations, vital signs, brief history, and ESI triage level. Performs, documents, and reports all procedures and assessments according to departmental and hospital policy. Assesses, documents, and intervenes in cases of suspected abuse or neglect. Recognizes potential emergency or life‑threatening situations and implements preventive measures.
