Cheese Quality Inspector

Cheese Quality Inspector Wage: $19.96/hr Schedule: 1st shift, 7am-5pm Mon-Thurs Location: Luana IA The Cheese Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting cheese products to ensure they meet Prairie Farms’ quality, safety, and production standards. Responsibilities Inspect cheese for appearance, texture, color, and overall quality. Check packaging, labels, dates, and seals for accuracy. Identify and report damaged or defective products. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and quality-control procedures. Record inspection results and maintain accurate production records. Monitor products throughout the production process. Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production staff. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attention to detail and observation skills. Ability to identify product quality issues. Reliable, organized, and dependable. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to stand and perform repetitive inspection tasks for extended periods.
