PATIENT SERVICES LEAD (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full‑time PATIENT SERVICES LEAD positions. Location: Palm Beach Gardens – 3360 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. Note: online applications accepted only. Job Summary Patient Services Leads are responsible for coordinating patient meal service and special requests for the Patient Dining Program. They ensure that Patient Dining Associates are adequately trained and that units are properly staffed to provide service. They play a critical role in creating a culture of comfort and compassion in the healthcare environment, taking care of patients’ special requests and nutritional needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee systems and processes to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the Patient Dining Program. Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure they provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, and deliver or pick up their meal trays. Work with caregivers and the culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences, or additional selections. Interact with nursing and evaluate daily patient meal selection, tray completion, delivery, and retrieval processes. Respond to patients’ needs at all times, communicating problems or concerns in a timely manner following department procedures. Assist dietitians, such as helping monitor patients who cannot eat through their mouth, are on liquid diets, or have specific calorie counts to manage. Adhere to facility confidentiality and patients’ rights policies, including HIPAA, JCAHO, and other regulatory agency standards. Follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and other food safety systems. Comply with federal, state, local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies and procedures. Conduct daily associate team meetings using Morrison’s branded GR8 Start Meeting guidelines and template. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operational instructions. Aptitude for effectively operating hospital’s admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems that manage patient care records. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver and push food delivery carts.
