Pharmacist

Pharmacist PositionWoodmark Pharmacy of MA is currently seeking a responsible and customer-focused pharmacist to join our growing team in Waltham Massachusetts. We are looking to fill our full time position.The pharmacist supports pharmacy operations by dispensing medications as prescribed and by maintaining compliance with all state, federal and other applicable regulatory agencies.Responsibilities include:Applying the principles of pharmaceutical care to ensure optimum medication-related patient outcomes.Coordinating the distribution of medications to patients.Participating, proactively, in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications include:BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree with additional knowledge and/or certification in geriatrics preferredExcellent clinical, organization, interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to provide high quality pharmaceutical care2-3 years' experience in a clinical pharmacy practice with at least one year of long term care pharmacy practice preferredThorough knowledge and understanding of all applicable nursing home regulations and guidanceExperience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and OutlookThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
