Associate Corporate CounselWendell, North Carolina, United StatesAbout the JobJob Title: Associate Corporate CounselLocation: Wendell, North Carolina (Onsite)Company Overview:Join a leading South Korean agricultural machinery manufacturer, established in 1947 and headquartered in Daegu, South Korea. The product line includes tractors, combine harvesters, all-terrain utility vehicles, and engines.Position Summary:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Corporate Counsel with 2 to 5 years of experience in legal compliance, corporate governance, and business law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Draft, review, and negotiate various business agreements, including dealership and supply contracts.Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure adherence to best practices.Advise on risk management related to regulatory and compliance issues in the manufacturing industry.Collaborate with internal teams (HR, finance, operations) to mitigate legal risks.Stay informed on legal developments and industry trends.Support dispute resolution and litigation management as needed.Assist with other legal functions and special projects.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.Licensed to practice law in one or more U.S. states.2 to 5 years of legal experience focused on corporate and compliance matters, preferably in manufacturing or auto industries.Bilingual in English and Korean languages preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.If you are a proactive legal professional ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply!
