IT Application Analyst V - Ancillary Health

The Applications Analyst V gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works independently and acts as a resource for lower level Application Analysts. This level has advanced knowledge of the functions and applications of information systems and the software development life cycle. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant (4) years of experience. Minimum of 5 years of IT experience ( 9 years if no degree), preferably in healthcare or related field, OR 4 Years of IT experience (6 years if no degree) and 2 years of clinical experience (4 years if no degree). Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of assigned analysts, including prioritization of work and coordination of resources. Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work. Team player and ability to multitask in a progressive environment. Ability to interact with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff in one-to-one settings and for group presentations. Ability to organize and coordinate the actions of small groups to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Works independently and effectively manages time unsupervised. Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation. Collaborates with other team members across the department. Ability to organize and coordinate the actions of a team to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Demonstrates self-direction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Project Management experience. Licenses and Certifications Required: Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or, where applicable, other relevant applications experience, per the department and/or position needs for HMH. This includes, but is not limited to, EPIC certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Cogito, Ambulatory, MyChart, Resolute, Health Information Management. Minimum rate of $133,120 Annually HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
