Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Verbena, AL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status in progress
• Experience working with younger children or in elementary school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for working with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
• Create and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress per school and state guidelines
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings and related documentation
