Radiology - Breast Physician

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Breast Imaging Radiologist to work full-time at Tidelands Health. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible and MQSA certified
• Completed a One-year Fellowship in Breast Imaging
• Eligible for medical license in South Carolina
• Strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations

Position Highlights:

• Full-time onsite position Monday Friday (8AM-5PM)
• No Weekends
• No Call
• Great mix of screening and diagnostic mammography. All units are tomosynthesis. Perform image guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures.
• Single VPN with Sectra PACs; PowerScribe dictation system
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment
• Staff are well-established, collaborative and dedicated to the hospital and communities
• Supported by a premier cancer institute, radiologists enjoy excellent professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery.
• Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serve as working conferences to deliver the highest quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner.
