Research Technician

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company at their base in Cambridge, MA.

Pay Rate: $28 - $38 / hour. Hours: 8am - 5pm.

Bachelor's degree or 4-8 years or direct relevant experience Required Skills/Experience: Bachelors level industrial chemist, chemical engineer, or mechanical engineer Background in experimental work with demonstrable experience involving: Design, construction, or operation of custom-built instruments Ability to optimize equipment capabilities and troubleshoot problems Programming skills related to instrumentation or data collection, such as Matlab, LabView, or equivalent . Optional Skills/Experience: Experience in sample preparation and routine analytical analysis techniques, such as GC, optical spectroscopy Training in instrumentation or basic machine shop skills . Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening.
