Responsibilities
- Circulate in the operating room during surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists; coordinate equipment, supplies, and staff
- Maintain patient safety and apply aseptic technique throughout the perioperative phase
- Prepare patients for surgery, including safe positioning and preoperative assessment
- Conduct pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care planning and documentation
- Use EPIC EMR to access and document patient information

Requirements
- Current RN license in California (state of practice)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and PALS required
- At least 1 year of operating room experience; one year full-time OR experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
