Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Paterson, NJ. With traditional school hours (8:15AM–3:15PM) and a weekly commitment of 35 hours, this position starts September 4th and runs through June 25th, offering continuity and connection with your caseload.

As the primary SLP for the school, you'll deliver assessments, evaluations, and therapy to elementary students. This school-based role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are dedicated to making a difference in young lives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current NJ Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience (elementary caseload strongly preferred)
• Comfortable and adept in district protocols and settings
• Ability to independently manage evaluations, testing, and service delivery
• Reliable transportation and close commute required
• Not open to CF or SLPA candidates due to supervision requirements
• Onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprints (agency and district)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language services to assigned elementary students
• Conduct timely assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to optimize student outcomes
• Keep accurate documentation in line with school and district policies
