Position Summary

Engle Printing & Publishing Co., Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Finishing Production Associate to support production operations within our Finishing Department. This part-time position assists with preparing, organizing, and processing printed materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout the production process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing printed materials for production and distribution.
• Review job instructions and production documentation to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Verify publication details, inserts, and related materials before processing.
• Load materials and supplies into production equipment as directed.
• Organize, stack, bundle, and prepare printed products according to department standards.
• Wrap, band, and stage completed products for shipment or further processing.
• Maintain production flow by supporting machine operators and department personnel.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Support quality control efforts and report any issues to supervisors.
• Assist with department projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or printing experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable work ethic and positive attitude.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent handling of printed materials and production supplies.
• Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and move production materials as needed.
• Ability to work at a pace consistent with production requirements.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production environment.
• Exposure to production equipment and moving machinery.
• Moderate noise levels; hearing protection may be required in designated areas.
