Van Driver - Senior Center

Transportation Coordinator
Under the general direction of the Director of Human Services and the Transportation Coordinator provides transportation service to senior and disabled citizens. Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Maintains responsibility for the safe operation of up to 14-passengers.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of passengers and their purchases.
- Operates wheelchair lift and secures wheelchair riders.
- Assists the Social Services Administrative Assistant with planning routes and trips.
- Logs daily pre-trip inspection, mileage, hours and other passenger information.
Minimum Qualifications: CDL or valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License with public passenger transportation permit required. High school diploma and one year of responsible related work experience. Part-time position for up to 12 hours per week at $17.50 per hour.
