Software Developer Tonawanda, NY, United States | req29479 Responsibilities Administer Windows Server 2019 and 2022 environments with SQL Server 2019 and 2022 supporting trailer fill operations Develop and maintain systems to collect, analyze, and report fill zone event data for Six Sigma, Lean, productivity, and other business needs Implement business rules to initiate truck and railcar fill operations, manage fill and tank batch data, generate electronic Quality Assurance Records in English and French Canadian compliant with FDA and Health Canada regulations Manage logistics dashboards and control user permissions for signing electronic records Maintain system interfaces and resolve software compatibility issues with new operating systems, HMI software, and base image versions Enhance and maintain daily Microsoft Excel report generation and automated emailing applications Support other regions by adapting custom applications to their specific business and technical requirements Deploy system enhancements and upgrades following development and testing Qualifications Hold a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or Engineering Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously Administer Windows Server 2019 and 2022 with at least one year of experience Have over three years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including relational database concepts such as tables, queries, views, and stored procedures Install, configure, secure, maintain, back up, and restore Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 with at least one year of hands‑on experience Develop and deploy applications using Microsoft Visual Basic 6 with over five years of experience and Microsoft C# with at least three years of experience Use Microsoft Excel VBA scripting for data import, analysis, and report generation with three or more years of experience Apply Windows batch scripting and have at least one year of networking experience in environments with segregated VLANs Prefer practical experience configuring Allen Bradley PLC or ControlLogix systems and working with iFIX operator interfaces Benefits Competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package, including health, dental, disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and vacation, 401(k) matching, pension benefits, an employee discount program, and opportunities for educational and professional growth.
