TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Home Health RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20373!

Position Overview:

Role: Registered Nurse – Home Health
Location: Washington, DC
Start Date: 03/24/2026
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Schedule: 5x8 Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Call/Weekends: None required

Responsibilities:

• Perform Start of Care (SOC), OASIS-E admissions, recertifications, resumptions of care, and discharge assessments
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) Point of Care EMR
• Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and identify changes in patient condition
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Perform peripheral IV starts and manage IV therapy, including central lines and ports
• Administer medications, including intravenous infusions, and provide medication reconciliation and education
• Provide wound care, including wound VAC management and pressure ulcer staging and treatment

Requirements

• DC RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Medicare-certified skilled home health experience REQUIRED
• (Private duty/home care not accepted)
• OASIS E experience – REQUIRED
• HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR experience – REQUIRED
• Peripheral IV starts – Required
