We are partnering with a well-established, growing organization specializing in emergency communication and life safety solutions to hire a driven, results-oriented Territory Sales Representative to develop and expand its Montgomery, Alabama market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow an assigned sales territory through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and new business development.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with commercial property owners, property management companies, multifamily communities, and other prospective customers.
• Educate prospects on emergency communication, monitoring, and code-compliant video solutions.
• Generate a minimum of 30 new sales opportunities per month through strategic prospecting and outreach.
• Engage with approximately 20–25 prospects weekly through in-person meetings, cold calling, networking, and referral partnerships.
• Spend 50% or more of your time in the field , conducting face-to-face prospecting, visiting prospective customers, and attending industry events.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through presentations, negotiations, and closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and key decision-makers.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry association meetings to expand territory presence.
• Maintain accurate prospecting activity, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts within Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while following a structured, repeatable sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful implementation of services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience , preferably in outside sales, territory development, or new business acquisition.
• Proven success in prospecting, developing new accounts, and managing the full sales cycle.
• Strong hunter mentality with the drive and persistence to build a territory and generate opportunities independently.
• Experience conducting in-person prospecting, cold calling, and face-to-face customer meetings.
• Ability to establish relationships with business owners, property managers, and other decision-makers.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently in a territory-based role.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies, such as SPIN Selling or Challenger Sales.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle record check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling to commercial property management companies, multifamily communities, or commercial real estate organizations.
• Background in life safety, security systems, telecommunications, building services, or related industries.
• Experience developing new territories or expanding market share.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Established relationships within the commercial real estate or property management industry.
